Plagiarism

Definition: Plagiarism is the act of copying or using the words of another person as one’s own without acknowledging them. Plagiarism is a serious violation of academic integrity and it should be avoided at all cost.

Types of Plagiarism:

  • Self Plagiarism: (Occurs when you use you submit your previous paper or use parts from the previously submitted essay without citing it. )
  • Direct Plagiarism:¬†(Occurs when a writer copies the word of another person word for word without citing the original speaker or author).
  • Paraphrasing without citing the source of the information
  • Using fake references
